The NEC DSX-80 and NEC DSX-160 are initially equipped with a standard two-port Automated Attendant, out of the box. Each of the DSX phone systems has the capability to add the full-featured NEC IntraMail Voice Mail with Automated Attendant, and requires only the addition of an IntraMail flash card to activate the feature.

With growth up to 160 ports, the DSX-160 phone system is perfectly suited for medium size businesses that require larger enterprise capabilities such as T1, PRI and IntraMail support, plus the DSX-160 offers capabilities such as built-in Caller ID (CID) and a 2 port Auto Attendant built-in that are ideal for small offices as well.

The DSX-160 contains the CPU slot, 8 universal card slots and up to 3 system power supplies (depending on Load Factor requirements).

The DSX-160 provides 160 ports. Just like the DSX-80 4-Slot KSU, the DSX- 160 is wall-mountable, has a flip off cover and removable side panel for easy access. The DSX-160 also has a translucent panel in the cover for getting essential system status and troubleshooting at a glance.
